Speeding toward destruction in the belly of a little green bug.
I'm leaving for Louisiana in the morning. Fantastic timing. I have a show in Shrieveport. The boss has decided to drive, I am one thousand percent against this, since many of the main roads we will be taking were hit by the hurricane formerly known as Ike. To add insult to injury, we are taking his vw beetle. Nothing says saftey on storm ravaged roads like a lime green bug. I'm going to the store tonight to buy a hat so I can hold the fuck on to it when I'm floating through the bayou in the belly of a bug. Wish me luck!

9-11
It was nine am, I was sitting on a pallet of fertilizer when my manager called down to tell us the news. The tower had been hit,we scrambled to the t.v. and stared in awe as the second tower was hit. I had lunch at the krystal with my best friend, and we were scared and we marveled at how quiet the world seemed that day...sept 11. I'm sad that I remember so well the small details of that day...sad it happened...sad to remember... Every generation gets that moment that everyone recalls so crystal clear. I can see the price tag on the bag I was sitting on...to all of those who were lost...we remember...

Mi casa or not to mi casa that is the question
well, I think S and I have weighed our options and are going to take the house. We won't get it for nine months, but the wait is good, and will allow her to finish the lease out on it. Being an adult feels strange. It's like one day you wake up and start making big people decisions...I'm digging it
